Hi,
Terrible sorry first, im a noob ![]() Because of several people, im inspired to also make custom cartridges. I also have great respect to kogami-son, he's brilliant. What would you recommend a beginner? ( I recently saw this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/TOP2048-universa...ayphotohosting) What EPROM's should i buy? The Eprom M27c801-100f1? Im interested to make Starfox 2 Thankyou very much |

before claiming quality-label create rather your cartridge.

Bumping this to ask: What's the final verdict on the Star Fox 2 project? What combination of cart + hackery yielded the most accurate result?

I'm most likely breaking a rule or two, as I don't have anything to add
that's new, but I wanted to thank those people that have worked on their projects and shared their findings and information. I've looked into doing this sort of thing(custom carts, for several systems), and this thread's pushed me to finally get around to it. I'll most likely be sorting and arranging the information for a future site centered on this sort of thing. I'm assuming that the authors wont mind the images and information being preserved else where, with credit. I probably will not be making any more posts, nor revisiting this tread again, so if it is indeed a problem (preserving the collective tutorial), aim your requests at c*aptai*nrhyth*m at gmail dot com (remove '*'s). P.S. Sorry for being a passer by, but this isn't a gaming specific forum, and that makes it more or less irrelevant to my interests and hobbies. |

Yes, of course, please do steal any traffic to my site by plagiarizing our efforts. It's not like any of us are going to go visit a lawyer and send you a cease and desist.
But it doesn't change the fact that you're a complete douche ![]() While I fully support the creation of some well done how too guides, and I'm certainly not going to, why don't you know... take the effort to do it your self? But no, go ahead, completely rip off all the valuable information in this thread so that you and build traffic to your own websites. I'm sure none of us would mind what so ever. And when I find it online and post it here you won't mind either.

eprom that work
I thought i would start a topic on which EPROM's people have been using and to what success.
I Have used tested on both stuntrace fx and vortex using eprom sockets 511-M27C801-10B 8M (1Mx8) 100ns otp success worked well with an average of 18 fps and no bugs $6.00 511-M27C801-90F 8M (1Mx8) 90ns uv as of thus far no success, does not work $10.00 Please add other chips that you have used and success rates and the relative price of said chip. I would like to find a 2 or 1 meg chip that also works to reduce cost ics found on mouser great site fast shipping recommended |

Does anybody have a link to a pic of the NTSC StarFox 2 cartridge label that actually works? None of the past links have worked for me and the pics that were posted here are not showing up.
