Pentium 4 3.2GHz CPU running too hot.
So I decided to try to upgrade my custom built PC, the one I've posted about before with the whole chipset fan issue and everything, with an upgraded Pentium 4 3.2 GHz CPU over my old 2.4 GHz CPU...and...well...it runs too hot! And it's like, unless the heatsink is adjusted, it won't even start up, I mean, it'll turn on, but then shut off right away. So...I'm guessing I need a much better heat sink, or even water cooling for a CPU like this? Gah...well, at least the thing was only 15$, eheh. I was just wondering if any of you had any recommendations or solutions for this.

Hmm. So it looks I need a water cooler for something like this after all. I have another uh... 'newb' question about water coolers. Would I need a whole new case if I got one?

Yeah I have an older one, but it's currently pretty much the same, save the 450W PSU I replaced the 500W one with.

Yeah...it's the old Compaq case. I didn't have anything else when I put the thing together. I mainly put it together when the family's PC was down, the mobo and CPU were part of a PC my Dad and I wanted to make for myself, but we never got the funds to get the case and everything...so...this is what that PC turned out to be. I just got the video card about 2 years ago, and the extra ram. Hopefully after I get into college here and get a job I'll get the money to fix this thing up.
