Hi Bill,
My only thought is that the footprint is very small.
I like to have a lot of copper touching the chip, for better heat dissapation.
Very big on top, and the clip seems a little small for the weight of the HSF.
Just my opinion, of course.
Take care..........
these are only my thoughts, but i wouldnt touch that with anyone barge pole.
1. the thing is going to be loud
2. it could crush you athlon very easily as it dosent use the pads.
3. as far as i know, coolers like that have never performed too well (thermal take as the example)
4. i dont like the clamp (should use all 3 lugs)
5. is has only been simulated rather than tested on a socket 462 2 gig.
it just isnt my cup of tea to be honest, i prefer something like a taisol 760 with a couple of nice quiet ys-tech fans on it rather than a screaming delta.
might be worth seeing if anyone has reviewed it, but i would stay away untill i heard a couple of decent reviews
toodles :xsofa:

looks like it does worse than the zalman cnps 6000cu which I know from experience isn't a brilliant performer.
40 degs odd on a 1.53 clocked athlon 1333 not exactly ground breaking.
and at top noise of 49 decibels you're into wall shaking teritory ;)
personally for quiet coolers with a decent performance the thermaltake volcano 7+ are what I'd go for

I pretty much agree with those guys above. I think the worst feature is what Mr P pointed out is that the cooler does not use the pads on the chip and balances the entire weight of the cooler on the core....not good:(
