No offense but why bother? The company went out of business meaning there'll be no support for it, no more parts released and all that.

Why not just got for a Vapochill LS?

I'm discovering more and more you could make what these guys make for probably $500 less or more (if you are thrifty enough) than what they sell their kits for. Of course, a homemade unit won't be as pretty or have that nifty software, but it will sures be functional :)

I even found refrigeration hoses which can be cut yourself and installed on special fittings. It's as easy as installing a water hose in a WC system. Of course, the copper block would have to be somehow manufactured or cast or something similiar found.

IIRC the LS cools to a lower temp but it is a little more noiser than the XE. You also need to consider that the LS is like the Prometia/nVentiv in that it sits at the bottom and plugs into an outlet and you put a case with all your other components on top.

The XE on the other hand comes as a complete unit, including case, where the cooling system is at the top. You are required to buy a quality PSU that has strong rails (Antec or Enermax mainly).

thanks killswitch,i understand there are no more m2gts and they had a problem,and chipcon closed up before the problem was fixed....
i like the li and lee case pc65 i think it is with the light speed chill unit,i have a promi now m1 for my 2nd system,this Ls vc system will be for my new fx53....i have the 510 deluxe turbo cool psu that should do it good for my new system what do you think pal...
