in one of the first reviews i red that the "max" didn't overclock very well.

Dicki, haven't heard much real information on this. The walls have it that it doesn't overclock as well, but I've seen no real evidence of that.

The fact is, many AT7, since older, have the KT333 CD revision. The KX7s are more likely to have the KT333 CE revision. Once some of those older AT7 boards leave the market, and the fresh batches arrive with more CE revisions, I think the boards will be even par.

Theres really not much reason for the boards to perform any differently really hehe :)

I tryed the AT, it was by far the fastest Socket A mobo out as far as 3D. Now the KX7 is out and it has beaten the AT in benches.
I also tryed the Epox 8K3A and it couldn't even out bench the KR7.

Thats what happen with me anyway:)

Thanks Opp...yeah it's intirely depressing. So...since im buying a new one tommarow...you think AT7 or KX7?

I beleive the board was damaged when I installed the DDR ram. I killed a KT7A installing ram before...not noticing it not being completely seated properly in the board, then turning it on.

The ram I had on the KX7 (corsair pc2700) doesnt seem to be functioning anymore either, so I think it was the ram, or something about me pushing it down.

Hmm. Well. Anyway, its lifetime warrantee luckily.
