well I was wandering around the web this evening and I stumbled upon the site tom'shardware.com

I remember a time 3 or 4 years back when I placed my first steps on the internet. that I surfed to toms' site every single time because in that time there was no equal to his site.
BUT...
since last year I didn't go there as much because his artikels got poorer and poorer. but it wasn't the only site i started to ignore i just started to ignore site ALOT of site , do reviews and previews of stuff that suckz and still in the conclusion they praised the stuff so much....
that they could sell you a second mother in law :-)
( I guess they do that tooget more "FREE" stuff, from the makers, I can't remember the last time that a reviewers , said that something sucked )

and ofcourse every week there has to be 1 site that flames something or someone, I don't care about flames

well in the following link he ( tom'shardware.com) flamed AMD

http://www17.tomshardware.com/smoke/02q3/020704/index.html

ofcource there was a followup, like every flame artikel on the net

http://www17.tomshardware.com/smoke/02q3/020715/index.html

well
don't get me wrong i am not saying that a person can't flame something. but they know IF they flame something there artikel will find his way around the net, and the site will be rewarded by thousands and thousands of hits.

I can't to be clear that I am not angry because he flamed AMD, I like AMD very much but, If wanted to buy a new CPU now it would be and intel 80 % certain , because now that are a little bit better , overcloking , heat , .....

tom flamed INTEL a couple months back that the P4 sucked , and also that he didn't get a testsilicon. and the site was like WOW AMD AMD AMD and now it is back to INTEL INTEL

I just think that site/ reviewers should not write what the manufacturers want or what the public wants (everyone knows that you will get around the web if you start a flame ware intel<> amd or windows<>apple.
pffft i am just saying, what are we with sites that like we say it in dutch "turn like the wind" what means , "change there opionions in favor of the mass"

ps; sorry for this thread, but that's how i feel about it
ps2: another sorry for my bad english :-)

Hi AFroDYme,

I agree, but I am moving this to the Reseller Ratings Forum.

This is really where we place praise and flame.

Take care.............

Hey AFroDYme,
I agree with you completly. When i was first introduced into overclocking i visited toms hardware quite often. Until after i had found NM. The more i became a amd fan the less i visited his site. I like my amd and the battle between intel and amd will always be around. But there is no need to flame anyone.
