When the 64-bit version of windows is finished: AMD-64, until then: Intel P4.

Its kind of a bad question, because each is better than the other in certain things.

For media, P4 is faster.

For games, AMD is faster.

AMD64 gets my vote. It's the best chip for gaming and once the 64bit Windows comes out it's one less thing to upgrade :D Plus it'll kick even more :mad2::mad2::mad2:.

I agree with tom.

I luv my A64 for games.. total ownage! Since thats all I do with her, all the more reason to buy one :D
