Haven't been on the 'net much due to my thesis, which I'm trying to get out of the way so I can crank on this story again before November rolls around and hopefully finish it up. Anyway, I have chapters 1-8 in a rough draft format, and hope to piece together the next half of the story soon.

Anyways, thought maybe a fantasy reader or two on here would get a kick outta reading it.

On the second write through, there will be more detail in general. My problem in the past has been getting bogged down in detail during the first draft rather than forging ahead into the plot. I'm trying to keep it leaner on the first time through this time.

I'll get to reading ti once I've gone through my insanely full e-mail box. Can't go away for a couple of weeks without getting a ton of e-mail to spend days sifting through :(
