View Full Version : Team Rank off by 1?

This seems such an obvious question, but I have looked around and not found the answer. Obviously I am not looking in the right place, or searching for the right thing!
Stanford lists my team (SPCR) as #23, as does the extremeoverclocking stats, but LiquidNinjas shows us as 22. I could see it being off in the other direction, because of the "aggregate" teams Google and Default, but some team would have to be left out of the rankings in order for us to be #22.
What is the explanation?

Here is the list from Stanford's Team Statistics (http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teamstats) page. It shows us at #23, and does not include Google.

As you can see, the LN sig shows us at #22.

Correction, the team rank is actually off by TWO. I am guessing it's subtracting 2 for the Google and Default aggregate teams, but these teams are already not included, so subtracting 2 is wrong. Is this a problem with the sig or with our skin?

with any luck, the creator of our stats sig will pop in and perhaps offer an explanation, until then...i think it is what it is and i dont mind our team rank being bumped a notch:)
thank you for bringing it to our attention though.;)

Yep, looks like Stanford just changed it so we dont need to subtract 2 anymore.
I cant keep up with all these random changes. I should be able to fix the -2 bug though.

It's fixed in code and will show the right number on the next update.
