LOL
Does anyone else smell that? It's called BS :D
I very much doubt that speed was reached ... and IF it was then I doubt the system was able to last more than a few seconds before crashing.
The whole picture looks like a photochop to me, there's no windows icons or any indication that the system is actually running. It looks fake to me.

that, and where the hell are the mouse and keyboard? I only see 2 wires running up the back.
In defense tho, it has to take a lot of processing power to keep that lovely grey window with text open, along with a solid blue background. Those blue backgrounds are resource hogs.

well a modified asus board has reached 5 gig before but they were using liquid nitrogen... lol... and it was decently stable... so even though i am HELLA skepticle, there MIGHT be a very small chance that it could be stable...

With all my grand insight into overclocking (and I think Player0 can testify to that :) I too am very doubtful that that thing was stable at 5 ghz with a straight mach2.
People get there systems up and run the program to take a snap shot of their speed but can you run your software at the speed your publishing, if not then what good is it?
I think someone should make a program that is used as a standard for benchmarking overclocked systems where it runs through a series of tests for stability then at the end snap shot the systems speed specs if and only if it finishes.
That way it's something real and not this, yea I got my computer runing long enough to snap shot my specs then poof, where'd my OS go?

You mean poof where did the processor go? hrm.. whats that strange burning smell and the melting metal on the backside of the case? Why does it shock/burn me when I touch it?
