I have the KX7-333R motherboard, and can install Windows ME alright. I can install the Abit drivers. Then I try to install the GTS driver, and on restart it says windows protection fault, or something like that. I reinstalled Windows ME, then the Abit Drivers, then the VIA 4 in 1 drivers, then the GTS driver, and it still won't work. I've downloaded their most recent driver from the website. Is there something simple I'm overlooking. Any help will definitely be appreciated.

Go to Nvidia.com and try a standard Detonator driver for the card...it may work better.

I'm not a big fan of Win ME at all. Since you are doing a fesh install I might suggest you do yourself a big favor and pick up Win XP Pro. If you can swing the cash, it's a much much better OS. Doing just this alone will make a big difference in platform stability for you.
If you must stick with ME, I suggest another fresh install, then install the latest 4in1's from VIA Arena (http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2) , and then the latest 29.42 WHQL Nvidia drivers from Nvidia (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=windows9x) as Player0 suggested.
For now, leave sidebanding and fastwrites disabled until things are sorted.
Set AGP Aperture to 128 and AGP x4.
Also make sure your memory settings are not too aggressive.

Probably the answer for this problem lies here (http://www.liquidninjas.com/bbs/showthread.php?s=&threadid=796)

I wondered too if, as SPTW said, that the problem could be because of the bad sectors. But I thought that when I would reinstall the OS that it would avoid those sectors and everything would be alright.
What I don't understand is that I had this driver installed fine when it was brand new, and everything installed without any problem. But now, it refuses to install. It always gives that BSOD with windows protection error, system halted. One time it said that it couldn't find KRNL386.exe, which is probably bad too. Each time I have to try to reinstall WindowsME. (I will have to agree with mdzcpa that XP is what I will have to get, but that will take a bit of time.)
Of course, thanks for all the help.
