why don't you start a poll and find out what we have on our site and that will give you a fair idea of the general "enthusiasts" percentages

Air cooling? Yeah you can get pretty good oc's at air cooling huh?

Thanks Dicki for the info. It's not a very big market is it? Perhaps the straight water cooling is a bigger market. But it sure is more fun!

I'm developing a high power tec cooler for computers. Just to let you know how serious I am, I've just finished the engineering phase and am about to start fabrication. And, BTW, damn copper is expensive.

I'll give hard data later when the prototype is finished.

Just curious, does anybody know roughly how many watts a 3.0 P4 cpu overclocked to 250 fsb would produce? 3.75 ghz? Has there been a study done on that?

that was a guess... i reckon its probably less than that...

think about how many pc's there are in the average office? then how many people actually own pc's
then the number of people that know *anything* about the way they work... its a very small number of people...

I think I've got an idea of how many watts my cpu is putting out now. That's a pretty nice watt calc.
