Dayem, and I thought I had it rought with my one burned chip. :)

So far I've only managed to fry a 1Ghz T-Bird. Not too bad, but it was especially painful since it cost me $300.00 at the time I bought it. :(

Ahh, this makes a good first post. :D

Not burned, not crushed... Zapped!! Yes, zapped. I heard a small explosion in my first build and it killed my 1 gig'er. I took it out and it had a large section missing from the middle of a crack... Don't know what happened...

The 2nd one is not as exciting; simply didnt' like my waterblock. It was an 850. Went up to 1050, not bad but not great either.

so, 1.85 gigs total. :)

First off:

Hi Spec.
Great to see ya here and posting.

Secondly, I have never fried, broken, smashed or otherwise ruined a CPU.
What am I doing wrong?? I feel left out. (Or maybe in left field.)

Does changing a mobo, and dropping sweat into the PSU, not knowing it, then turning on the system, and watching the blue smoke released from the inside count??

Take care......

I've only killed a 1800+ in use.

But me and my friend destroyed 20+ 486dx/sx 66 and other assorted hardware we had around one night.

Nothing like taking a little revenge on some hardware. I have a box of hard drives waiting for retrubition at the business end of some high caliber weapons :D

Hmm let me see.

Duron 750 x 2
T-Bird 1200
XP 1600+ x 2
XP 1800+
XP 1900+

Not a bad lil tally for a total of 5969mhz puts me in second place:D
