I want to pelt my system, just the cpu, and was woundering if their are different sizes? something between 226w and 80w, and would my psu hold up to a pelt? I have a 600w psu. I want to run at 15-20c, i am upgrading to a bix rad, and haven't decided on the pup, their was one that i herd of, looked like the 600 but black and cheaper. Would my current system hold up a pelted system or do i need more upgrades?

There are lots of different sizes actually, but I wouldnt use anything less than the 226w module on the CPU.

look at the required power of the tec, and then check your powersupplies rating (normally written on the side)
for a 226watt tec you'll normally need 25amps+ on the 12v line

actually, the 226w at 12v only draws 18-19amps.

Im seriously considering going with a TEC system also.I bought my DangerDen waterblocks with the coldplates just in case.
But i know next to nothing about Peltiers.I guess its time to read up.
Anyone know some good detailed sites to get informed on this subject/project,please post the links.
Thanks :D
