As more and more enthusiasts have found their way to exotic cooling solutions, we've decided to open a forum dedicated to just that...the extreme stuff. Phase-change, Peltiers, Chillers, Dry-Ice, LN2, you name it.
Whether you have questions to ask, or results to share, this is the place for it!

That'll never happen. Very few people have the knowledge, ability or balls to try it. With LN cooling you tend to totally screw up the CPU & mobo (at least).
I've only ever seen projects done by people for magazines or get paid a lot from sponsors on te ir websites so they can do it.

Its not so much difficult (hell, Ive seen the screen savers do it) as it is messy and inconvenient :)

Yeah true it isn't majorly difficult to do, if you can install a pelt system and know what you need to do then it should be fairly simple. Problem is the fact you have to be very careful, especially when handling and pouring the LN, and also you'll more than likely have a dead CPU ... worst case everything used will be fried if not insulated and set up properly.
I certainly wouldn't give it a go.
