Here are a few "in progress" pictures of my system. Some of you may have seen some of these before, some are new. It's not done yet, but it's coming along. I am having trouble with the installation of the OS (XP Pro is installed and I get constant BSOD for some reason). Anyway, lots of pics:

The case in pieces.

Hey, why not mod the Craftsman tool cart too. An' don't that keyboard look spiffy?

http://home.inreach.com/jmfloors/CaseMod1/cm1134switches.JPG
Lighted pushbutton switches are [what do the kids say?] 1337 -- how 'bout if I jest call 'em "the shit".

Where the switches, fans an' lights all come together.

Picture some decals on this window -- jest like the cars do.

http://home.inreach.com/jmfloors/CaseMod1/cm1173lrear.JPG
Even the backside is lookin' perty good, eh?

http://home.inreach.com/jmfloors/CaseMod1/cm1175inst.JPG
Tryin' ta git the system up an' runnin'. No luck yet.

http://home.inreach.com/jmfloors/CaseMod1/cm1179inst.JPG
But it is startin' ta look real nice. Let's jest hope it lives up to its name, which, by the way, is in honor of the late, great owner of Function Designs Floor Covering, my friend and mentor who died recently of cancer. This is for you, Larry.

Thanks for the comps, you guys. I appreciate it. Player0, the cuts were made with a variety of tools. I usually have this article I wrote as a link in my signature, but I think you guys don't allow that. That's okay, happy to oblige with THIS (http://home.inreach.com/jmfloors/HowTo-windowcuts.html) .

doh! just realised what your talking about! we don't mind as long as your a regular poster and it's to something interesting and relevant, obviously it'd be nice if you'd include a link to us elsewhere on the web ;)

We have no problems with links to other sites or images or anything, especially in signatures. We dont allow HTML code for security reasons, so you have to use vb code.

You may linke to any personal pages you wish, unconditionally.

However, if you wish to advertise an outside site for...well advertising purposes, we have rules in the guidelines for that.

We aren't strict tho, so dont worry about it :)

I don't know how many hours -- you know the old saying, "Time flies when you're havin' fun." It has had its moments, but mostly it's been fun.
