Links in IE

Once again i think i have managed to break my pc, i need some help. When i try to access some links my pc freezes for 2 mins and then just leaves me at the original web page. why does this happen, its really doin my head in.

try clearing your temp pages and cookies:)

Yup i have done as you said,deleted the cookies and temp files but i still have the problem, damn links.

If you give us some example pages, I can see if theres anythign funky like activeX or Java (likely culprit)
