Well, dabs delivered my board and chip this morning :D

the board is a rev 1.1 board which looks better as i think it has a few more options in the BIOS :)

the chip is a brown one rather than green and the codes are as follows

Anyone know if this is going to be a good clocker???

from what i remember the agoia's are pretty good and the later the date the better really

yours is from the 21st week in 2002 so some time in may which sounds pretty good considering were in june now...

well, its in and working (after a fashion)

put the new board in, atric silver on the chip and threw the cooler on it.

booted into windows, and of course EVERYTHING on the board was enabled, so it tried to find drivers for :-
USB
USB2
Sound
LAN
RAID
as well as redetecting most of the mothrboard resources. so basically my windows install screwed itself :(

had to spend about 2 hours deleting stuff out of evice manager and gtting windows to redetect, as well as downloading drivers over 56k modem

right pain in the arse.

still its working now, althoughwith alot of stuff disabled till i can backit up and format it.

right, lets go for some tweaking :)
