little off topic,
but if i store all my stuff (i.e. seti directory) onto another hdd redo my parents machine then put the stuff backonto the hdd would my seti still work?

Hi Wes,

Would have been better to open your own thread, now we have two topics going here.

Yes, zip the SETI directory, do what you need to do, and unzip back in original place. Will be OK.
