Site with info about HD TV's?

Looking to buy something along 32" and want to spend around $1000. Ive seen the Philips hd widescreen at stores and they clearly look the best, but im looking for a faq about what you need to have every channel hd, what happens if tv isnt widescreen but your tv is, etc. etc. Anyone know a good site?

It's up to your cable company to have the HD channels avaible. I think some local stations by me brodcast them and I can pick them up with an antenna but I've never tried it.

Still worth getting HD, especially if you do any gaming, or PVR with your computer. I bought a TV last summer, and Im kicking myself now that I didnt get HD.
