ok so my car gets towed for tickets..(f'n nyc) I get it back and a combination power steering / suspension problem has now been exacerbated to the point i'm scared to drive the car. I need a couple of things done to the car (1990 Accord EX) including oil pan replaced, new suspension, new radiator fan, and I figure I'll do the intake, headers, and exhaust. I figure it's best to do it near mom & pops in middletown so I could leave the car there w/ no storage fees or fear of towing if need be. Any of you guys know of a good import tuner/mechanic in the middletown/newburgh/monroe area that's not going to rape me?

much thanks.

No, but if you find someone, let me know :)

I know theres a place on 211 across from Arbys that sells a lot of tuner parts, but Im not sure if they do work.

Jerrys Service Station has done work on my cars for the past few years (what I havent done myself). They are pretty respectable and honest. They are always busy tho, youd have to make an appointment in advance.

Yeah, my dad has a good rap w/ Wayne's on ballard road behind the mall.. He did the hiflo-st swap onto my 87 bmw 325i couple years back, but not a great job (ended up going to a tuner in woodside queens to tweak it out). I'm planning on doing an H22a swap in the hear future, and most likely I'll get the work done up there since ppl down here are shady and charge waaaaaaaaaay too much for labor. I'd do it myself if I could, but cold weather lack of garage, lack of tools, and lift prevent that.

I want to put an H22a in to my Honda as well. But, i might get a newer car for myself and give the Honda to the wifey. But I put so much time and money in to speakers and stuff for the Honda... I hate to part with it now ;)

I'd love to get a subaroooo.. $$ is tight now, hopefully I get this new gig @ jpmorgan working on their grid engine.

If that happens I can easily forsee a WRX in my future.. Definately AWD and turbo whatever I get. I'd love an audi a4 avant, but I think the wrx will give me more bang for the buck.
