As if there isn't enough torublemakers in my family my brother just got a new puppy. He's German Short-Haired pointer from a field trials champion breeder Alpenblick Kennels (http://nairobi.mwc.edu/~sscho8aq/AlpenblickKennelsfinal.html). Wonderful bird dogs, we have 3 in our family (Herr Schoen lives down the street from my brother)

The little guy is a demon. Has the attention span of a ferret on a double expresso, and is constantally nipping at fingers, clothes, anything within reach. He's also so damn cute I can't stay mad at him. He has good instincts and is already pointing birds. We'll see if Hank the dog is as good as his uncle Gus and his cousin Fudgie, the other GSPs from Alpenblick.

It's hard to get a picture of a moving target. :D

And for scale next to my fat but small black lab.

He lives over at my brother's house a few blocks away. Gus, his uncle, hates all dogs including his own son, my other brother's dog fudgie. My dog Casey will put up with allmost anything including little niping puppies and my mother.

Hank is going to be a brusier. His paws are huge and so are his legs. I'm just waiting for him to loose his little needle teeth. The damn things hurt.

that dog looks nuts fara :)

sptw thats an incredible looking dog, it must be a lot of effort to train and "maintain" a dog like that. are you in that picture or are they the judges?

Hi Dicki :)

Yeah m8, they used to let me crazy sometimes :d
In the left side is the Judge, a Canadian or Argentine judge, i can't remember, and in the right side is the Handler, not me.I still have hair in my head :D, hummm .... not much maybe :D
BTW, Irish Setter is a common dog in England, isn't it?

Nice dog M8.

My best friends dad just picked one up ;) SHE is a German Short-Haired pointer also, but her tail is cropped (?) and is only 10wks old. She is very cute and playful. After begin around so many dogs i'll never beable to decide what kind of dog I want when I get my own house.

My family on the other hand, Likes the bigger dogs, enter St. Bernards ;)
