expectant date on prescott?

i'm gon start buildin' me a new system within' 2-3 months
and i jus wanted to kn0 the expected date on prescott release?

and would it b faster/better? than athlon64/opteron.

i also know that amd comin' wit sandiago core for opteron/a64... maby they did major improvments?

since neither is out... n only time will tell... which you think would be the fastest... as da next i buy will needa last for least a year maby 2005?

i guess 64bit cpu would b best?

1st quarter of 2004.

Nope. Some versions will come wih less cache which will make them cheaper. The other development is the coming .09 process which should yeild higher overclocks.

If building from scratch in 1st qtr of 2004, I'd surely go AMD64
