Very interesting design...

I just picked up a Swiftech MCX4000 and a Thermaltake 90mm fan (56cfm 35dba). Even at full speed (2850rpm) it is very quiet but moves a good bit of air. Even while gaming for hours my CPU stays between 40-55c.

Funny how Matsushita came up with 'heat pipes' in some of their recievers over a decade ago and then later abandoned them for their inefficiency but still the technology find its way into cpu HS assys.
At least I haven't seen a Pana/Tech with one in a long time.
