a virus your wife got from kazaa infects everything on that machine INCLUDING the spyware :P

try kazaa-lite and ad-aware and the spybot destroyer posted on this site recently.
also i have used norton corperate anti-virus for the past 5 years and (knock wood) never suffered a loss or problem because of it:)

She is using Kazaa lite and Ad Aware is on the machine as well. Been using Norton 2002 with all updates and it hasn't been going well. Time to reinstall :(
