UPDATE: Only the 5th L3 Bridge Needs to Be Connected

This is a little "how to" thread:

The unlocking procedure on the Tbred was originally figured out by MrIcee and a few others. If you follow the procedure, it works great every time:) I've created this post to lend a hand based on my personnel experience.

The chip:

The bridges. Here we see the L1's remain intact from the factory and that some of the L3 bridges are cut. On the Tbred it is the combination of cut L3 bridges which determines the multiplier. On this particular chip, the 1,3,5 bridges are cut which make it a 2200+ (multiplier of 13.5):

Here's what you need to unlock the chip:

The pictured items include a tube of conductive grease, scotch tape, clear nail polish, nail polish remover, and a pin. A good magnifying glass is useful too (not pictured).

The unlock procedure is the same as it was for the Paliminos:
Clean the bridge area with nail polish remover.
Tape off the pits.
Fill the pits with clear nail polish and let dry.
Remove the tape.
Carefully clean the bridge connection removing any extraneous nail polish.
Connect the bridges with conductive material of choice.

Update: One of our members has indicated to me that only the 5th bridge needs to be connected.
Thanks deerhunter

I have now confirmed that only the 5th L3 bridge needs to be connected. So keep that in mind as you utilize this guide :)

And here is an unlocked TBred:

It's not pretty but it works! Remeber you only need the 5th bridge now.

Make sure you apply plenty of bridge unlocking material for the Tbred's....they need a lot for a good connection to be made. I know I needed to apply more material than I used to on the Paliminos. I've unlock 2 TBreds so far, and both seemed to need a lot of material. I use conductive grease to do all my unlocks. The combination of conductive grease and nail polish make the process easily reversable with a simple application of nail polish remover. It's much easier to fix mistakes this way versus the superglue and defogger repair method.

Here's the result:
