November LAN?

Anyone gonna post details on this shindig? I missed the last one due to, as always, LIFE, but am in now way going to miss the coming one, but I just wanted to find out the details?

if fara will help me clean out my basement (no pressure) i will like to shoot for the 15th, 22nd or 29th of nov.
now if have my facts straight Dicki will be around N.J. for the 22nd.
so there is nothing like the last minute huh guys, unless for other reasons it needs to be pushed to dec, what days are best for all whom plan to attend??
i just dont want to see hundreds of dollars go to a fire dept in a town i dont even live in to rent their hall, fara took a pretty heavy hit last round and i dont even know if he broke even...less the food.

Oh, I didn't know Fara didn't break even. I actually found out earlier this week that one of the guys I work with is a volenteer fireman who's got some pull, and I might be able to get a firehall for dirt cheap up here. Unfortunately, Im a good 60-75 minute drive from NJ, and that could make a long trip for Dicki.

I think we should definitely shoot for Saturday, the 22nd so most of us will have work off, and we can meet Dicki (and maybe DFrancis, where ever he went off too).

Yeah, I can bring some Tuna Mac and other food as well. And my new project :)

Money is a big issue for me now, then it wasn't. Breaking even has never been an issue to me I set them up because I really enjoy myself and Synth gets to leave his house and play.

I really want to get together soon. Dec is a notoriusly bad month for people. Most have far too much to do, unlike me that has no problem giving x-mas gifts far after x-mas ;) I do beleive Dicki will be here the 22nd and at the minimum I will be downing a few pints with him. It would be really nice to have a LAN when he's here thou. :thumbs:

You will have to do some wholesale clearing to fit 10+ heads. Might have to take over the dining room. How much is a hotel room for the wife and kids? Probally cheaper than a hall. ;) :D
I can't even offer any beds, don't think mom will go for that.

I have no problem with driving up to you guys. I've been going halfway there lately to meet fellow Subaru owners. You have to set up a day where we all get together and see how we matchup on the consoles. I enjoy getting my arse handed to me in fighting games. :battle:

Cool, The 22nd is bad for me also. If all goes right I'll be driving in the SCCA PBX rally in the pine barrens that weekend.

I have the 27th to the 1st off so anytime that weekend (execpt Thurs) I'm good to go..... as long as I don't hit a tree in the rally. :D

ok i threw out 2 more bags of shit today, im doing my damnest, well sort of, to get the basement set, the living room may be doable too since i hosted a wedding reception a few years back for 30+ guests and we were all comfortable even with the huge ice sculpture untill it melted to my basement.
this saturday i have to take my kids to see the "Wiggles" in NYC but sunday if fara is not busy, can you call me? i guess some ideas need to be addressed although electric is the least of worries, i have a 100 amp panel and a 60 amp sub panel with open spots to suffice.
dont let me slack too much, i want to do this:)

suprizingly, Sarah is ok with it!
she was more hesitent to give up her kitchen to fara for the day, however remembering he was a chef at 1 time softened the blow.

In the UK they have the rear fog light and the wiring harness and I won't have to loose a reverse light and run the wire for the switch. You can't get them over here :)

Yea and if I had the $300 to spend on a damn light I'd have a lot more things done on my car. ;)

Bring what you can over and I'll take you out to the local store so you can try some good microbrews. If I really get my ish together I'll go the the local brewery and get some growlers of the fresh stuff.
