I encourage everyone who likes our new site and wants to help make us a better place to get the word out about LiquidNinjas.com. The Admins and Mods here can only be so proactive.

If you guys could maybe put a link or small image (we have a tiny 88x31 gif on the front page that could work nicely until we come up with something better) in your signatures as you visit other sites, we should beable to get some new faces to visit. We are really commited to making this place great, but we aren't too proud to admit that we need any help we can get ;)

You'll tend to find that most of the hardcore hardware members from NM have come here to share their hardware related interests.

NM has been going through some "changes" lately, and the site has moved far away from it's "roots" which was overclocking and hardware based. Now NM seems to be more of a general "chat" community, versus the once prestigious hardcore overclockers site it once was.

So, rather than dig through the forums at NM looking for the burried tidbits of hardware related stuff (eg the overclocking forum is now a sub-forum under "specialty interests"), many have come here to LiquidNinjas to get back to their overclocking and hardware focus.

In addition, we have now began to attract the interest of some other hardcore overclocking enthusiasts from other sites besides NM. And we hope this continues.

I think Mike summed it up very well. Just what NM will end up looking like in the coming weeks is certainly up in the air right now. I dont know what their plans are, and don't want to speculate. I certainly hope the best for my old home, and am interested to see what becomes of it.

I am glad to see part of the NM community participating here, along with folks from other boards, ForumOC, Icrontic, AmdMB, HardOCP, whereever else. Most of the founders here have strong NM roots, so this board will likely have a similar feel to the old NM forums, but we hope to build on that and attract some more skilled people for overclocking/cooling/case modding. And gaming, and well, whatever else you can still do with computers. We dont want to limit our site down to too narrow of a scope.

As for people posting the same things on multiple forums, well unfortunately it happens. I havent had time to be anywhere else really myself, swammped and behind with all sorts of things, LN and overclocking related hehe. We aren't trying to compete with any other sites, just sort of working along side, doing our own little things, in maybe a friendlier atmosphere than on some other boards, I hope. We fill some niche I suppose. Or we wouldn't exist with such strong support :)

The real reason there are so many boards around is because there are so many different types of people around. In the end, the people migrate to the board which most resembles their personality. I guess. Im not worried about it, just trying to have fun hehe :)

You should use:

Where { } is replaced with [ ].

Be sure NOT to reference index.php in the url, and NO slash on the end of .com.

The image should be linked from the ln_banners folder, not mdzcpa's personal folder. This way, if the logo is updated, everyone will be updated.

I've used the above in my sig, replacing the correct brackets, it seems to work except unfortunately the LN banner is not displaying??? any clue whats wrong? If someone would care to email me the corrected (working) text to place in my sig it would be appreciated...
