I've heard that OC'ing can fubar RAID setups @ high speeds... Is anyone using the Abit KX&-333 mobo and a RAID array at really high speeds (FSB/OC) that's seen problems with this?

Yep...I'm running 188 right now 24/7 with a RAID 0 stripe without any trouble.

The key is the 1/5 divisor the KT333 chipset has. At a FSB of 166 the 1/5 divisor has everything running right in spec at 33mhz...sweet.

Even at my daily FSB of 188, the PCI bus is still only running at 37.6 mhz...only 4.6 out of spec. So all your PCI cards, RAID controllers, HDs and everything run nice and happy at high FSB.

Heck, I've run my FSB at 205 for days at a time on the KX7 without a hiccup from my RAID stripe.

Bottom line...no RAID problems with high FSB on the KX7:)

Thanks for the info guys. Think the KX7 is the mobo for me. :) Can afford to upgrade cpu+mobo+RAM soon, but will be looking in the near future to hook up a couple Maxtor 7200's in RAID.
