BIOS rom checksum error?

HELP!! I finally got my ram today and i slapped it into my case and hooked everything up and i turned it on and first thing that happens is bios rom checksum error.. What is that supposed to mean? how do i fix it?

I guess that's what i get for buying a $29 peice of materal. Oh well that gives me an excuise to get a better board

That is not always true, I get that if I set my dividers wrong, instead of 4:4:1 I put to test the mobo 4:2:1 and thats when I get that error, so check your dividers.

but i can't even get into the bios.. it don't even post. just comes straight up to a black screen that says "bios rom checksum error"
