Finally i got some pics of my sysyem up. Not the best quality as they were takeing with a DV Cam. The first one shows i'am a die hard amd fan. In the dark it shines green (pic to follow tonight) and the second one.. my first window mod.. which is'nt all the way finished quite yet.

Trick for ya...if you go around the outline of the cutout with a magic marker (or paint if you dare), you get a nice visual effect, instead of seeing the grey metal exposed where you made the cut...if thats actually what im seeing in the window pic :)

Well the amd symbol what hard work..i was afraid i was gonna break it.

The window.. well it was kinda stamped into the metal..so i used it as a pattren.

I like it thou.. just have to figure a way to cover thouse edges.

Hi Wes,

I have seen people go to the Pet Store and buy clear aquarium tubing, slice it in half and put the tubing over the cutout.
It is very hard and exacting work, but, when done right, is VERY sharp looking.
And if you put a light inside the case, the clear tubing has a really cool glow from the light.

Food for thought.

hehe here's the dark pics.. the first one it with the DV'S night shot on ... it actully shines green on the wall in the AMD Symbol, the second one is with the nighshot off and looking down on the comp.

I used a sharpie (magic marker) to go around the edges on my window.. Well it looks better but my case ate my sharpie !! lol I still think i'am gonna try what lee said.. i need another case too.

thanks... I made the fan grills.. Ive hah alot of emails because of them and it looks like Im going to start making custom grills..Im also in the process of desining and build my own custom case.. I post some pics as I go...
