Was just playing around with stuff, and I decided to take off the Thermatake cover on the top of the Volcano7 HSF i have to try and reduce the noise.... Not only did it reduce the noise, but my CPU temps also dropped by 8-9 degrees/C at load...

Anyone else found this?!

I took the grill off my 60dB 60mm fan to reduce noise... didn't help that much but it was noticeable. Temps stayed the same.
