Fan failures

Lucky I am sitting here right now, I just had multiple fan failure in a very overclocked p2 gateway box. The temps in there were nothing short of sizzling, lol, when I turned it off it ticked and cracked like a well thrashed engine. It was the smell of electrical short and molten plastic that alerted me.

All I can say is budget fans are no bargain. good bearings are a must. This was moments away from a good housefire I reckon.

No more skimping on fan prices for me.
