Coming Soon - Coolink P4 HSF Shootout

All the goodies needed to wring out the performance of Coolink's newest P4 HSF line up have arrived. I'm going to see just how far I can get a budget P4 system to go with basic air cooling.

The equipment:

Asus P4P800 Deluxe
P4 2.4Ghz
Corsair XMS 3200

Nothing fancy here. Just an 865 board, low end 800mhz P4, and some basic 3200 memory. All can be had $400 and would make a nice upgrade to an aging rig. The real fun will be to see just how much performance can be sqeaked out the combo.

The northeast blackout delayed things a bit, but first impressions of this 2.4/P4P combo are astonishing. Last night, without much of a hassle, I had the chip up to 3.240mhz prime stable with basic air cooling :eek: :eek: :eek: !
