Look no further... HERE (http://www.xtwerkz.com/vapor_cooling_mach_2.htm)
Deffiantly worth it. Don't know how quite, but should'nt be louder than a few 40cfm fans.

dfrancis has got one over at pclincs (i think he got it and not the vapo) and he thinks its great, he fired it up for me and you can hardly hear it! you need to keep some air moving over the compressor itself and not just the rad but as long as you do that your fine :)

I'd suggest getting a Vapochill, it's quieter than the Prometia and cheaper ... not to mention the Vapochill looks so much better :)

the promethia is higher performance though ain't it? and you can buy it as an unboxed unit and build it into a lian li :D

prometia can hit way into double digit negatives on the water temps. not sure about the vapochil.

Water temps?
Vapochills also hit double negative temps ... mine right now is -15C and my rig is o/ced :) I believe the reviews show the Prometia to be 10C cooler than the Vapochill ..... BUT you won't get any major speed increase from your CPU, you'll be lucky to get a couple of mhz more. So at the end of the day the extra cost and noise of the Prometia don't appear to be worth it considering it won't help your o/c

Im trading someone a laptop for a vapochill. The guy won it as a prize at OCC's yearly lan party. He dosent really need it. So i offered him my laptop. Soon I shall OWN in temps MUHAHA.

He didn't need a Vapochill!? He must have already owned one (or a Prometia) to not need a Vapochill.

Perhaps it was the electric bill... that's the only reason I can see someone not needing a VapoChill...

He just isnt that big into it. He dosent have a need for it. Hes just into the gaming not the overclocking. And if your just gaming and not overclocking your pretty much ok with air cooling.

Yeah, I can see that happening. Not everyone appreciates the same things in life. Most of my friends still think any form sub ambient cooling is over the top:)

my close friends think i'm insane for wetting my rig, now if i sub zero it ...:D
i can definitely appreciate a promy but it just isn't my cup of tee, although its a great solutions for others.

YEah there is, even thought the mark 2 cools an extra 23C you won't be getting huge increases in your overclocks. If I can find the website that compared the Vapochill PE & XE with the Prometia Mark 1 & Mark 2 it shows that for the extra cooling (and expense) you won't be getting a much better overclock ... I think the best the guy managed was an extra 20mhz or something.

I haven’t seen any test on an Athlon so you might only get 20mhz bug god knows you've provided no evidence, when tested on a p4 2.8ghz the mach2 maxed out around 4.2ghz where as the Vapochill maxed out around 3.5, so that’s around a 700mhz difference. When your down that low every few degrees is going to help big time, epically if heat is your main issue.

This has all been hashed over plenty of times over on XtremeSystems already. Bottom line, the Mach 2 doesn't really offer better overclocks....at least nothing significant.
The real advantage to the Mach 2 is in the reliability of the unit and the bells and whistles offered. Enhancements include an improved Windows interface, better start up procedure, lower noise, and better condensation prevention. Temps are indeed a wee bit better (colder) but the actual overclocking improvements have been rather insignificant. And that's based on actual user experience, not published marketing hype.
That doesn't mean the Mach 2 is not more desirable than the Mach 1...it is. But it is due to being a more refined product more so than producing higher overclocks.
