Stupid Hard Drive...

How does one remedy the problem of the (Don't quote me on this, it restarted before I could read it fully) "First boot sector of hard disk is unwritable" ? I'm trying to format my D: drive into NTFS, as people will see in my previous thread of formatting troubles... and I finally got somewhere with it... it seems THAT is the error message I'm getting.

Suggestions anyone? They'd be greatly appreciated.

Download the drive utilities for your brand of hard drive, and low level format. That will *move* the first sector of the hard drive somewhere else.
