I moved my project to work so I could keep an eye on it. Not much to report other than its crunching away 24/7 for the F@H team! Although I have a way to go to beat dicki, it's almost two weeks and counting.

I did shut it down to show some of my coworkers the cpu/waterbox assembly, because I dont really fasten the cpu with anything but the socket's cam lock, it's easy and quick to take the thing apart. When I pulled it out of the board I took a scientific temperature reading on the underside of the cpu (my right index finger!) expecting to feel some warmth as I've shown it running about 48 - 51 under load. Much to my surprise it was cool to the touch. I checked the socket where the probe is and found it to be warm... My conclusion is that the temp readings are more board related than what the cpu actually is.

I'm going to give it another week or so - drain it to check things out like calcificaiton seal integrity and such and will post an update - in the mean time, I'm working on an article.
