Im looking for a program that can show the temperatures of the CPU / system chips on the desktop (pref in the tool bar). I would like something descrete but constantly visable - at the moment I use Gigabyte's mother board info but it displays all the useless stuff like hard drive space, free ram and the like which makes the window rather large and obtrusive.
If anyone knows of a few programs I would be very grateful whilst I do my temperature checks on the computer.
Thanks :O]

Check out the logging feature - comes in handy if you want to see what really happens over a gaming session or such.....
if you're still watching this thread....
Two other programs that show such info are some objects that you can download for desktopX from stardock
http://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/
or you can also try samurize which is a cool scripting program
http://www.samurize.com
both allow you to customize your desktop however you wish with :snipe: whatever information your mind could ever imagine:vampire:
