Kg7-Raid supports the new cpu

Hi guys, here is a link to the new BIOS for KG7-Raid/lite it supports Thoroughbred now. In this aspect Abit is far ahead of any other mobo, I spoke to Epox and they said they dont know if there new 8K3A+ mobo will support Thoroughbred, so here is the link if anyone is interested for the new BIOS support:

I am thinking about getting the new Thoroughbred maybe but will wait for Hammer and maybe my KG7-Raid will also support the Hammer. We shall wait and see.

The hammer is a totaly new package. No more socket A so the KG7 will never supourt the hammer. The KX7 also has throughbred supourt with the New BIOS. Or so I've been told.

The 8k3a has had T-Bred support since the march 28 BIOS.

Before I sent back the Epox mobo I spoke to Epox people and they said they dont know if they will support this chip. Would you know what kind of socket it will be for the hammer?

Look at the bottom of an XP then imagine it filled with pins. There are pictures floating around the net of the CPU and some MB shots.

Got any links to it? When is this new stuff coming out?
I am waiting for it instead of buying Pen4 Northwood, to much money. Hope it comes out by the next of the year.What is the difference between ClawHammer and SledgeHammer ?

Thaks alot for this inof, I decided to wait get the ne clawhammer when it comes with a new mob, will make with water cooling, i hope. Lets wait and see.
