So i wanted to put a 90mm fan over my vidcard Too get some more air over the damn thing. I have ample room too. My question is would this make air being sucked in by the video card fan less efficent for turnbulence? (sp?)

I also wanted to do this with my prossesor. But i have a blow hole in my case and a fan in back of the case were prossesor sits. This rigg is air cooled. So again would that cause air to just tumble about.

Sorry i should have put this in air cooling rather than case modding.

My bad guys.

I had good luck with a side case fan, it did nothing but good on the HS, but even better is having a flow thru from the front of the case to the back.. IMHO...

I forgot to mention i got that too.
The case has 3 92mm fans in front.
I installed blow hole on top.
I still have to install some fans on drive bay side.
Some day i'll get my digi cam fixed and post my 2 riggs.

My side mounted fans have always helped keep my AGP and PCI cards cooler. The fans on vid card are relatively weak and move very little air so you won't be losing much efficiency at all by adding a side mount fan.

I say do it.
