Hey guys Gots a question.... It about my new setup! I currently have what in my first sig, I like it and all but the peltier is seriously underpowered, it gettin like 11.5v total So its not workin too well, my idle temps only gets as low as 11c, that is the loweset I have seen it!(just depends on the ambient. I really dont think that my pump/rad can handle the heat its pittin out. And my ambient is always around 80-90f(SUCKS).

Right now I have my rad up front blowing air out of the front and two 80mm in the rear as my intake. I really dont want to use the 226w peltier anymore, I have a 156w peltier just laying around and was thinkin of using it instead? what ya think?, I want to go with a single PSU, Im going to get the Antec Tru-Power 430w. I figure either way the pelts going to be under powered!.

This is what I want to do. I already got a window for my door and it has two 92mm cut-outs for fans, I've got the Stealth fans(dont like the noise) so both will be blowin in to case right over the video and cpu and chipset, I also want to still use the two 80mm as my intakes as well, and the relocate my rad to the top of my case, right in the middle of the top between the psu and the drives. Is it worth it? I figure most of the heat is up there anyway and with all the air blowin in it should help alittle?

I just want everything self inclosed, I could go with something else but dont really want to run water lines in and out of the case? I do have a mini 1.8c fridge/freezer I can use...

any help on what you think would be great or any help on the existing setup would be great, my load temps usually get to about 40c, and if I let it idle it slowly goes up so that is why I think the radiator is having problems with the peltiers heat.

No thats not too good for a 226w pelt. What waterblock? What are your hot water temps? You may want to look at NYs recent threads on this subject.

You have a reverse air flow there...but hey whatever works. The 156w peltier wont be close to being enough too cooling anything over 1500-1600mhz. I dont recommend it.

It might help a little.

I like self enclosed too, which is why I go peltiers in the first place.

40c is much higher than 80-90f hehe. yes, if your water temperatures keep going up, that means you dont have enough radiator. What radiator is this anyway? You might try more fanage. Is 40c your water temperatures? thats way high. You want around 30c.
