This is an impressive design, I am in awe of the scope, design and sheer size of this building. It has to be the design to go up.

It is some auesome imagination.. but no way this will ever happen. In this day and age America's craftsmanship and man power would never allow for it. They would have to close down the holland tunnel for 50 years just to construct it. Besides, the owners of the property already said they don't want anything as glamorous or big as the old towers. I've heard they want to construct several smaller buildings in place. But I agree NY, designs like this are the ones that should be entertained :(

This design is incredible. I feel like building smaller buildings would somehow be a great loss to this country. Like letting the terrorists win.

No. I want something bigger and better than the old towers. Like saying to the world that you can kick us in the groin, but we're just going to come back stronger than ever.

Maybe thats an old-fashioned type of attitude, but I tell you, I would love to see a building that beautiful and unique in the skyline.

I think that would best honor those who were lost.

i wish they made something like the super structure that was to be made in japan, it was 1 mile high lol

I also feel the design is awesome and wish they would do something like that. P0 is right about the feeling that if something on a lesser scale is built, we would be letting terrorists take away something from us.

But, practicality will carry the day, and we will likely see a more modest structure/complex.

looks amasing! i'm not american but strongly sympathise at you loss and being british feel very much apart of the war against terrorism, and as such agree holeheartedlywith the sentiments above, i hope something bigger and stronger is built to show that terrorism has no place in this world and will just make the strong stronger!!! Reading about the security measures for the new WTC its more than i'd actually expected and am pleased at its extent, the memorial trees & pictures for each lost are a great tribute to souls lost too, i hope you build it!

I'm not a buildings anorak or anything but watched a program on discovery the other day about the proposed millenium tower (search google for info) in Tokyo it will stand twice the height of the proposed WTC and will consume materials like the world has never seen before. The steel required alone will be greater then a years output from the whole world (which presently is pretty much made to supply demand and barely stockpiled) so the kms tip for the day is buy steel stocks soon :)

I have to so that I agree with the others, that is an amazing building. And the idea of the memorial in the bottom is really great. Most people talk about the site, what will be rebuilt is the question they raise. But this outline not only shows memorials for all those lives that were lost, but it also shows other countries that we are not afraid of them. Why should we be forced to make numerous smaller buildings? Just to let the America people feel safe? I think that if the government did what it was suppose to be doing in the first place someone would have been able to stop this tradegy. All you hear is that all this new evidence is arising that people had evidence that there was going to be an attack but no one did anything to stop it ot even to bring to any one elses attention. I think that they should rebuild the towers, but as we saw in the past that the structure was an easy target. Maybe they should talk a poll of all American citizens on what should be built.

It is just a piece of my fried mind.

Hi all,

My wife suggested that the building be the shape of the "finger".

Talk about defiant!!

Take care........

Hi IFMU,

I have a small part in it, but Player0, Northern Yankee, mdzcpu, and Ranger498 have done the most work in here.

We are continuing to make it better and add more functionality each day.

Feel free to look around and let us know what ya think.

Take care........

That design was pretty cool. It reminded me of Vancouver B.C. for some reason... A friend of mine said that once he went up there and a friend of his told him "It looks like the entire city has been designed to dock w/a giant spaceship!" :D

I agree - smaller buildings? Well, perhaps it should be turned into a park instead then? But not smaller buildings... :/

Definately a super structure!!

I think the five celindrical towers are a much superior design
compare to any other building i have seen to date..

you would have to take out at least three towers including the middle one to collapse it.

A super desing!
