Got bored yesterday and made this. It's more a test that I can fit it all in the case than acually done. It's my PVR and my old maze3 system.

Oh, yea I also went to CompUSA for some thermal grease (didn't have any good stuff) and came back with a present for my 9500.

I've had major issues with the drivers on this install. The only drivers I can get stable is a old set of omega drivers. My 3Dmark scores suck dog.
I'll try some new drivers after I get done getting dead in Tron :)

hmm.. so are you usin the NP version of 9500 to softmod it to 9700P performance? (omega drivers)....
i'm playin Midnight Club2 with my ATI 9600P..:)

Yup, notor's got it. :)
It's a 9500Pro w/ the warp BIOS. It's done 1400+ before but there is an issue with it for some reason now. The Omega drivers are opimized Ati drivers that offer better visual quality in games (well, that's what they say ;) ) they're not made for high #D mark scores.
But it works fine right now, it just benches for shit

uh oh. I think you finally beat my Ti4200 score. :( But its taken alot more MHZ hehe.
Why not water on the GPU? That would complete a system.

umm..so how does this thing work,,, you get an ordinary ATI 9500P card and then you use some Omega drivers to get 9700P performance?? i thought only the NP version of ATI 9500(Sapphire cards) with 'L' pattern memory and Red PCB could be flashed to 9700P performance with Warp's driver/bios:confused: ...thats a really nice score..with a little tweaking you can easily get THE 14K mark ;)
my card is runnin at 417/355 with Stock cooling....thats why i wanna get some nice coolin..so that i can achieve the 14k Mark :)

I've had this card for a long while. I got it pretty much as soon as they came out. Review (http://www.liquidninjas.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=27)
When I got it I want to overclock it and found out it was locked. I'd move the sliders and they'd just go back to default. With a little looking I found the thread explaining the Warp BIOS. It changes a few settings in the BIOS to make it think it's a 9700Pro. After that the card clocked fine.
Afaik the card has a 128bit memory bus not the 256 of the pro. That's what changes with the 9500 to 9700Pro mod.
I still have to putz around and see if I can get it to clock higher. So far I've gotten 305/310 and it's running the cat 3.5's right now. If it was still running the Omega drivers it would score in the 6k area. :(
