GD main sewer line clogged today :mad:
And I wasn't about to pay some blue collar mofo who charges 5 times what my white collar arse makes an hour to have it fixed...Ok, call me cheap...
I rented a powered auger and ran that 100 ft line all the way in. About 65 feet in the water washed out like somebody pulled the cork but I thought letting that muhfuk whip around all the way to 100 feet might nip any near future problems in the bud.

Did I mention I did this in the rain and when I pulled the access plug in the backyard near the foundation i got a s#it guyser? :mad:

Anywho...I just love owning my own house :confused:
BTW it's 20 years old.

btw in the future, homeowners insurance covers some of the $$ and might cover your lawn damage if any. ck your deductable ;)

I don't think the lawn was damaged. This happened during a rainstorm...All the ISH was washed out and down the lawn :confused:
Not sure if I want to involve my insurance since my only pocket expense was the powered auger. ($42.5 for 4 hour rental)

I used to work for a company that sucked out porta potties - this new guy driving the truck went to empty out after a full day - and the 10" valve stuck ....... It let go about the time he was peering down the barrel ....... he got covered head to toe....
