Hi notoriousformula,
Try MotherBoard Monitor (http://mbm.livewiredev.com/).It's more accurate.

Notorius,
look at this page (http://mbm.livewiredev.com/comp/asus.html) and take an attention on "motherboard (your A7N8X) and "Sensor chip", "Case Sensor" and finally "CPU Sensor".They are the correct one for your mobo.Select them on appropriate section on MBM monitor and you're done.

here is the pic..damn i always forget the pic..
Hi Notorius,
Open MBM5.Choose settings. Now on MBM5 screen choose temperatures and open Should display board sensor option. Now set the correct one in accord with your mobo (follow those link above).Do the same for sensor 2 and for voltages and fans options.

I use Asus Probe and it does everything I need. Its temps are always within a degree of BIOS and MBM5, so I'm happy with it. MBM5 just has a bunch of utilities that I don't use so I find it more cumbersome than helpful.

:D :DWelcome:D :D to LN Facedeharicot, and thanks for your advise.
yeah, i kinda figured out MBM5 and its running fine now. the temps shown are almost in range of the bios temps.
i also figured out that if you run both(MBM5 and Probe) together, they crash on each other. like they use some same file or some sensor. i was actually comparing the temps on both.
Drake, Sptw: thank you guys, both programs are workin fine now ;) .
