So heres the deal - went from the 1.4 furnace to the 2100 as I heard it OC's well (and I could buy it without giving up lunch for the next month or so)
I could change the multiplier in the bios without problems on the 1.4 - full range from like 8 - 14 and It would post...
Not so with the 2100  any change brings a black screen and a hunt for the bios reset jumper - (which I'm happy to say I can do with my eyes closed now!!)
I've researched some and seems that I have to unlock the CPU. I found THIS SITE (http://www.ocinside.de/index_e.html) but it seems to indicate that you have to know the specific multiplier that you want, and mod the chip accordingly.
My goal is to unlock the CPU so I can vary the multiplier through the bios as I did with the 1400.
Anyone here have some words of wisdom for me???
