Win XP Pro or XP Home??

Guys help me out here. Should i get XP PRO or XP home? I was talkin to my friends aunt and she said she would just give me a copy of XP Pro.( She's a distributor for network stuff..nothing illeagel.) I was told not to use Pro unless i was on a network. (says my tech coordinator.) Well i plan on setting up a home LAN so is XP Pro ok for me... or should i go with the home version? She told me software she'd give me or get it to me cheap...and hardware..nic's, rourter, hub... would be cheap too. So help me out...

Go Pro, no question.

Yes, you will have network capability, plus better security.

I highly recommend Pro, stay away from HE, you will be disappointed.

Pro has features that you will not find in HE. Don't ask me what cause I ain't gunna tell you. It is a surprise.

Just kiddin', but for sure, go Pro, then get your network stuff.
