HAs any one have any experience with these. As I know they are quite expensive both. However they have really good temps. I would like to know if it is worth buying these?

For the best in cooling, phase change is indeed the way to go. If I didn't already have a water/TEC cooled rig, I would likely have bought a Prometeia by now.
Upside....the best in temps for the CPU hands down. Usually pretty quiet too.
Downsides....you only get CPU cooling, so you'll have to do something else with your video card. Most have to add water cooling system for the GPU. It makes little sense to have extreme CPU cooling without some robust GPU cooling too.
Also the cost is very high. The new Mach II Prometeia goes for $950 USD...that's pretty pricey. Not to mention you have to spend money on something to cool the vid card with too.
So it comes down to personal choice on whether the cost is worth it.

Im still saving up for my Prometia Mach II, but the aluminum kit which goes for like $1100.
Is it WORTH buying one? Well, you will be able to use this same case for many PCs to come, but it really depends on what your plans are. If you want the best in cooling, and are willing to make the investment, then yeah. You cant go wrong with the Prometia.
If you want good affordable CPU cooling for extreme overclocking, id get a couple peltier waterblocks and a gooood liquid cooling rig.
As mike mentioned, you will probably want an extra GPU cooling ciruit in the prometia as well, since you can only cool one CPU with the prometia. And forget a dually.
I built a peltier liquid chilling system that got water down to below freezing, and it was able to cool a cpu, gpu, hard drive, ram, northbridge, whatever. A nice flexible design, but not nearly as good CPU temps.
IN the end, it comes down to MONEY. You will be stuck getting the best for what you can afford. None of the technologies listed are really competing, they are simply different price points.

So what's the difference between the Promethia and Vapochill, besides the price?

Prometia is much more powerful. You will get much cooler CPU temps.

Just been checking out the Prometia and they don't seem to bad (once up and running). I'm put off and would rather go with a Vapochill. Prometia have made it a hassle to buy and setup their system, first you have to buy the cooling unit, then the case, then the head for whichever CPU your cooling, then the LCD display .... it's a pain. Why couldn't they have just sold an all inclusive system like the Vapochill so all you have to do is select the system (dependant on CPU) and that's it.
I've not got a Vapochill (yet) but I gather their system is all installed in the case and all the end user needs to do is the preliminaries to installing a subzero cooling system to prevent condensation and all that, and then install their system. But with the Prometia it looks like you have to go do a hell of a lot more work to get a final end result. For someone who's determined to have the best and doesn't mind the extra work load involved it would be a great system ... but for people like myself who aren't all that experienced or confident in building an extreme cooling system (building my watercooling system was bad enough LOL) it would be a nightmare!!

Im not sure i understand that line of reasoning. Apart from being cheaper, the Vapochill really has no benefits over the Prometia. I am not sure where you are looking to buy your Prometia, but MANY resellers sell complete units. Checkout xtwerkz.com. They give you lots of different options, but they all come as kits. Im not sure why you consider the selection of options to be a bad thing?
The Vapo and Prometia kits will need the same kind of construction. You will still need to mount the mobo, do the waterproofing, and mount the chiller unit. The Prometia isn't any more work UNLESS you go for the option of having your own case. With Prometia, you can buy just the chilling unit and install it in any case you want, very flexible. Or you can buy the premade case if you dont want to do the extra work. Vapochill doesnt give you that option, last I heard.
Im not sure what you are looking at, but you might need to check out a few different sites for some more information. Prometia does offer an all-in-one kit depending on what CPU you want that is the same option that Vapochill offers. You must be looking at the more advanced options like installing things in your own case.

Oh right cool. The sites I was looking at had pull down menus or tick boxes to make the complete unit, until I checked out the site you mentioned I had not seen a site that offered everything required in one package.
Now I just need to find a good UK retailer that sells it, I've found 2 but they don't offer an all-in-one package, you have to add each component (cooling unti, case, LCD etc ...)
Either way I still like the Vapochill just a little bit more than the Prometia, aminly because I think the Vapochill is more asthetically pleasing and sounds cooler :D

I cant speak for the sound. My biggest turn off to the phase change systems is that you cant use your own custom case. Just wait until Tailin finishes his amazing dremel work on my new Lian-Li :)
Now if I just had a way to BUY a prometia, i would be set.
