Just wondering if the danger den radeon GPU cooler will work on the 9800 (it only says 9700 on the site). I would assume it would because they're basically the same, but just wanted to check 1st. Thanks

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. Just one more quick (n00b) question for you. I was thinking of getting a Hydor L30 for my 1st watercooling rig instead of the more common 1250 Eheim.

Does anyone have first hand experience with hydor pumps over an extended period?
Or if anyone knows something about the Hydors I may have overlooked, let me know.

Thanks again.

Most will say the Hydor is a good pump, most also say the swiftech is good. Personally haven't had any experience with the Hydor, have had two swiftech failures, have seen a few posts regarding dead Hydors, All I can say is i bought an Eheim 1250 and personally I won't bother with another brand. The few bucks extra are worth the lack of frustration imho.....

And AMDrules is 100% correct, the 9800 uses same mounting setup, as 9700, my Swifty block fits fine on the 9800P...

I agree with Ruantic. Go ehiem the first time and you'll not need another pump. Tte hydor is not a bad pump per se, the ehiem is just the best. There are very very few complaints about eheim failures.

Ok, thanks a lot everyone. I'll come back a while later with some pics and stuff when I get everything all set up. :newbie:
