Hi 1st.Proplayer,
First off welcome to :D :D Liquid Ninjas.Com :D :D. Secondly, The IC7-G and the IS7-G seem to be top dogs right now with there newly released bioses. Give them a try. Price ranges from $180-200 on newegg.com.

IMOHO I like the IC7-G best (of course that's why I have one). As Wes indicated, the latest round of BIOSes have put the IC7 and IS7 at the top of thier respective classes performance wise.
The P4C800 is also a good choice but it has some serious SATA RAID issues that lead to very poor performance. Other than that it is an excellent board.
Be warned, however, that if temp issues bother you, the IC7/IS7 have such an issue. Abit claims the temps on these boards are in fact more accurate than other brands, but users are finding average P4 temps to be running about 10c higher than "normal". Abit feels that they have properly implemented diode temp reporting and that other m manufacturers are doing it wrong by shaving off the temps to make the customer feel better about seeing temps they are more accustomed too.
Either way, I think it is all quite irrelevant. Stand alone temp readings are meaningless...there is just too much variation board to board, brand to brand. Relative temps are what's important (such as the idle/load variation). But, that's just my opinion.
The best bang for the buck board is the IS7 right now. With the new PAT enabling BIOS from Abit (which was produced in response to Asus and the P4P800 PAT enabling BIOS), it has put the IS7 equal to the IC7, if not to the top of the heap, performance wise. At HardOCP the IS7 with the new BIOS bested all other 478 boards. It's also pretty inexpensive which makes it a great deal.
My choice in order of price/performance and overclocking:
IS7
IC7
P4P
P4C
